My Tour of Seven Districts in Virginia

October 19, 2008

Virginia in mid-October is about as good as it gets, and so I spent my Columbus Day hiking Strickler’s Knob in Page County. I didn’t have any plans to report on the presidential campaign, but on the drive to and from Arlington, I ended up crossing through seven of Virginia’s 11 congressional districts and picking up some interesting clues about how each one will vote. Jeeps could soon be built in India Quote: No other brand is as patriotic as Jeep, boasting the WWII-era General Purpose military vehicle that helped win the war for the Allies. As it stands, current Jeeps are all U.S. made, with the Grand Cherokee and Commander hailing from the Detroit area, the Wrangler and Liberty being assembled in Toledo, Ohio and the Patriot and Compass coming from Illinois. Daily Podcast Lieberman Edition: A Curse On 3.7 Liter Engines This is about as scientific as the fifteenth-century Vatican, but I think 3.7 liter engines are cursed. Six vehicles come to mind, featuring five engines. Click through to see the gallery and my descriptions. Consider the models currently or recently on the market in the U.S.: 1. Mercedes ML350 (2004-2005). With a name like “ML350″ you’d be thinking 3.5 liter engine. It had 232 horsepower and 254 lb ft of torque. Not bad for a V6 generally speaking, but also not a knockout for a 3.

I recently asked about a electrical problem on a 02 Jeep Liberty, but no one seem to know the problem?

All the electrical functional on my 02 Jeep Liberty were non-functional,including the ac, powere locks, entry alarm, lights, odometer, speedometer, cruise control. All these problem happened at once. It stalled and went out, but started back up with no problem. The car came on with the check engine light on. I’ve took it to three different auto mechanical shops, including Pep boys, and a Dodge Dealer. But none of them were able to came up with a solution. They all claimed to be a top master tech, but I had to pay for their diagnostic service with no answer. Relays, fuses, were all ok. So are the sensors, which some of them claimed to be the problem. I’m a mechanic myself, but when comes to electrical proablem, and computers, I’m all lost in space. With all of that, I can prob. guess and leaning toward the BCM (body control module). I can bet that the BCM can cause these problem. Now, with my guessing. To change the BCM out, can I do it myself? or do I need to take it back to the Dodge, or Chrysler dealer? I’m sure that it needs to be reset for it to recover these lost codes. But, I just don’t have that kinda of wallet to jus’ hand it over to the dealer. If anyone could help, please help.
